Military Pedagogy: Textbook for Higher Education Institutions, 2nd Edition, Revised and Expanded

This textbook offers a comprehensive examination of contemporary pedagogical science and practice, focusing on the training and education of military personnel. Prepared by a team of instructors from leading Russian military academies—including the S. M. Budyonny Military Academy of Communications, the Military University, the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy, the A. F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy, and the St. Petersburg Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the MIA of Russia—the authorial collective comprises 18 doctors and 19 candidates of sciences.

The head of the authorial collective was Oleg Yuryevich Efremov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Laureate of the 2013 Russian Government Prize in Education. A prolific author of scientific works, textbooks, and study guides, and initiator of the "Textbook for Military Higher Education Institutions" series, Efremov passed away in September 2015 while working on this edition. This textbook is dedicated to his memory.

Approved by the Educational and Methodological Association of Higher Military Educational Institutions in Military Management of the Russian Armed Forces for humanities and social specialties, this edition is intended for cadets, students, adjuncts, instructors, commanders, and all interested in military pedagogy and broader pedagogical issues.
