This edition of the None Musenalmanach marks the 80th anniversary of Rostislav Yurievich Danilevsky and focuses on a landmark work by the symbolist poet Vyacheslav Ivanov. It presents his translation of Pindar’s First Pythian Ode, one of his first major publications. The original appearance of this translation in the influential Journal of the Ministry of National Education was a deliberate statement.
