This book by renowned St. Petersburg poet and literary critic Alexander Skidan is a genre experiment built from the raw material of his own Facebook page. Skidan was born in Leningrad in 1965. He is the author of over a dozen books, including the novel Guide to N and the poetry collection Contamination (2020). He has translated contemporary American poetry and prose, as well as theoretical works on literature, art, and political philosophy. He is a winner of the Andrei Bely Prize (2006), a fellow of the Joseph Brodsky Foundation (2018), a member of the “What Is to Be Done?” group, and an editor of the “Practice” section at Novoe Literaturnoe Obozrenie (New Literary Observer).
